In Nirvana the sterile environment of the night time public authority building provides
the stage for a surreal encounter between three people.As Szuper Gallery’s electro-pop plays, a woman taps the high heels of her boot against a closed door. Dressed
in a pink shirt and striped tie a young man slumps pensively to the floor.Two women crawl on all fours across the blue linoleum of the office floor. Formal office relations explode in a display of flailing limbs.The cliché of the red lipped office vamp is pushed to its limits as, legs spread, a woman in fish net stockings rolls seductively against the wall.The stifling environment of the immigration office is transformed into a libertarian playground.A beguiling take upon arts potential relation with corporate structures.

In Nirwana wird die sterile Umgebung der Behörde nachts zur Bühne für die surreale
Begegnung dreier Menschen.Während im Hintergrund ein von Szuper Gallery komponierter Elektropop zu hören ist, bewegen sich zwei Frauen und ein Mann nach
einer unerklärten Choreographie durch die Flure des Amtes. Eine Frau schlägt die
spitzen Absätze ihrer hohen Stiefel gegen eine geschlosse Tür. Ein junger Mann in rosa
Hemd und gestreifter Krawatte lässt sich gedankenverloren auf den Boden fallen.
Zwei Frauen kriechen auf allen Vieren langsam über den blauen Linoleumboden. Die formalen Bürobeziehungen explodieren, Gliedmaßen schlagen um sich. Das Klischee
des rotlippigen Büro-Vamps wird bis zur Grenze ausgereizt, als sich eine Frau in
Netzstrumpfhose langsam über den Boden rollen läßt. Die steife Atmosphäre der
Behörde wird hier zum freizügigen, anarchischen Spielfeld. Ein betörender Kommentar zu den potentiellen Beziehungen der Kunst zu korporativen oder institutionellen Strukturen. Mark Beasley, Electric Earth, British Council, Katalog
